Here's the deal with Anime Fighting Simulator - it looks like you just punch stuff and get stronger. And yeah, that's basically true. But the difference between someone who progresses in a week versus someone stuck for a month comes down to knowing which stats to focus on, when to train, and what champions to use. I've seen so many players dump everything into Strength and wonder why they're stuck. Don't do that.

What Each Stat Actually Does
Every stat is color-coded and tied to different abilities:
- Strength (Red) - Punch damage and Strength-based ability power. Train by punching at training areas.
- Durability (Blue) - Your health pool and resistance. Train by taking hits from dummies.
- Chakra (Purple) - Chakra-based ability damage. Train at meditation spots. Heads up: this one's the slowest to level.
- Sword (Green) - Sword ability damage. Train by swinging at sword posts.
- Speed (Yellow) - Movement speed. Levels up passively as you run around. Don't waste time actively training this.
Your Total Power (TP) is all stats combined. Higher TP unlocks better content and rewards.
Which Stats to Level First
This is where most people mess up. Here's the right order:
- Keep things balanced. Seriously, this is rule #1. Don't dump everything into one stat. Balanced stats unlock class upgrades faster, and those give multipliers for ALL stats. Lopsided progression will stall you out.
- Give Chakra extra attention early. It's got the slowest gain rate. If you ignore it, it becomes a bottleneck that blocks your class upgrades later.
- Sword second. Most efficient for quest completion and Yen farming.
- Strength third. Good base damage for melee and boss fights.
- Durability fourth. You need HP for boss raids, but don't over-invest early.
- Speed? Don't bother. It levels naturally while you move around. Active training it is a waste.
Quick rule of thumb: if any stat is more than 2x higher than your lowest stat, stop leveling it and catch up the others. Balanced progression is always faster in the long run.
How to Train Without Wasting Time
When You're Actively Playing
- Always have a quest active. Training without a quest? You're leaving Yen on the table. Quests fund class upgrades, which give multipliers.
- Use the mini-map filter. Filter by stat type to find the nearest training spot for whatever you need.
- Hunt for boosted servers. They give 1.5x+ stat multipliers. Check the official Discord for active ones - it makes a massive difference.
- Drop your graphics to minimum. Enable Low Mode in settings too. Prevents crashes during long sessions.
AFK Training (The Real Grind)
- Match your click timing to the stat. Different stats have different optimal delays:
- Strength: ~125ms
- Sword: ~115ms
- Chakra: ~1,150–1,550ms
- Use private servers. No interruptions, no lag from other players.
- Run it overnight. A good 8-hour AFK session with correct timing produces insane stat gains.
Champions - Why They Matter More Than You Think
Champions boost your stats while equipped. The right one can literally double your training speed. So yeah, don't ignore these.
How They Work
- Each champion gives percentage boosts to specific stats (some go above 200%).
- You get them from Gacha banners, quests, and NPC rewards.
- Always swap to a champion that matches whatever stat you're training.
Best Champions to Chase
- Rimmeru - Massive Chakra boost. Best in slot for Chakra training, which is already the slowest stat.
- Mada - S-tier overall. Great multipliers across multiple stats.
- Boro - Strong all-around booster. Works well for balanced progression.
Don't Sleep on Free Champions
- Talk to NPCs on Starter Island, Gym Island, and other areas. Many give free champion slots AND free champions.
- Side quests from Monado and Curito give additional ones.
- These free champions are legitimately good enough for early-to-mid game. You don't need to whale.
Class Upgrades Change Everything
Your class determines Yen income and stat multipliers. Higher class = faster everything. It's that simple.
- Do class quests the moment they're available. Each one unlocks better multipliers for ALL stats.
- Sword quests are fastest to AFK. Need Yen quickly? Sword-based class quests are your best bet.
- Spend Yen on stat multipliers. Higher multipliers mean every training click gives more stats. This compounds fast.
- Don't skip class upgrades. A Class 10 player with balanced stats progresses roughly 5x faster than a Class 3 player with one maxed stat. That's not an exaggeration.
Which Abilities Should You Use?
Match your abilities to your highest stat. Using a Strength ability when your Chakra is 10x higher? That's just throwing damage away.
- Wind Grimoire - Great for grinding. Fast cooldown lets you spam it for quick NPC clears.
- AoE abilities - Grab these for clearing groups during quests. Huge time saver.
- Defensive powers - Transformations and damage-reduction masks are essential for boss raids where you need to survive long fights.
- Check the Power Menu regularly. New abilities unlock as your stats increase.
Artifacts & Traits
- Max artifacts to level 25. Each level gives significant stat buffs.
- Don't waste Trait Rerolls on low-level artifacts. Save them for your best gear.
- Match traits to your playstyle. "Fighter" and "Harmony" boost Sword/Durability. "Fortitude" boosts Strength/Chakra.
- Prioritize artifacts that boost your weakest stats to keep progression balanced.
What's Actually Slowing You Down
- Maxing one stat, ignoring others. Unbalanced stats block class upgrades. Blocked class upgrades block multipliers. It snowballs the wrong way.
- Training without quests. You're losing Yen every minute you don't have a quest active.
- Ignoring champions. A good champion doubles or triples training speed. Always have one equipped.
- Wrong AFK click timing. Using 500ms delay when the optimal is 125ms means you're getting way less stats per hour.
- Skipping free champion quests. Those NPC champions are genuinely good. Don't walk past them.
- Not using boosted servers. A 1.5x boost means 50% more stats per session. That adds up fast.
- Forgetting codes. Free Yen, Chikara, and Trait Rerolls. Check weekly - they expire.
