Doors will genuinely scare you - and that's why it's one of the best horror games on Roblox. You're navigating through a procedurally generated hotel, opening doors one by one, while deadly entities try to kill you in increasingly creative ways. The thing is, every single entity has specific mechanics. Learn them and you'll reach Door 100. Don't, and you'll keep dying at Door 15 wondering what happened.

Rush
- Warning: Lights flicker rapidly.
- What to do: Immediately hide - closet, under a bed, in a vent. Don't hesitate.
- Don't come out until the rushing sound completely fades.
- Rush kills instantly on contact. No second chances.
Ambush
- Warning: Same flickering as Rush, but Ambush bounces back and forth multiple times.
- What to do: Hide when it comes, jump OUT immediately after it passes, then dive back in when you hear it returning.
- Repeat until the sound stops (usually 3–6 passes).
- Staying in the closet too long triggers Hide (see below). You HAVE to exit and re-enter.
Screech
- Warning: A creepy "psst" whisper.
- What to do: Quickly spin your camera around until you spot Screech. Looking directly at it makes it vanish.
- Don't find it in time? It bites you for serious damage.
- Screech only spawns in dark rooms. Keep a light source ready.
Eyes
- Warning: Bluish-purple glowing eyes floating in a room.
- What to do: Do NOT look at them. Turn your camera toward the floor or a wall and walk past.
- Looking directly at Eyes drains your health fast.
- They can spawn anywhere. Always scan rooms before walking in.
Halt
- Warning: Your vision goes glitchy and you enter a long hallway.
- What to do: Walk forward. When the screen says "Turn Around," immediately reverse direction.
- Keep following the prompts until you reach the end.
- Ignoring them = heavy damage.
Seek (Chase Boss)
- Warning: Eye symbols on walls and the floor turns dark and gooey.
- What to do: Run. Follow the glowing doors during the chase.
- Crouch under obstacles (fallen shelves, barriers) or you'll take damage.
- Don't stop running. Seek catches up fast if you hesitate even a little.
- The correct doors always glow - memorize the path on repeat runs.
Figure (Boss - Door 50 & 100)
- Figure is blind but hears everything. It tracks you by sound.
- Stay crouched at all times to minimize noise.
- Walk slowly. Bumping into objects (shelves, tables) makes noise that draws it to you.
- If Figure gets close, hide in a closet and complete the heartbeat mini-game (press keys when prompted). Mess up and you're dead.
- Door 50: Find books to solve the library puzzle while Figure patrols. Terrifying.
- Door 100: Final boss. Solve the puzzle while Figure patrols aggressively. This is where most runs end.
🚪 Other Entities You'll Meet
- Hide - Forces you out of closets if you stay too long. Screen glitches and says "GET OUT." Leave immediately or take heavy damage.
- Dupe - Creates a fake door. Check door numbers carefully. Fake doors have subtle growling sounds.
- Jack - Jumps out of closets to scare you. Harmless but you'll absolutely scream.
- Timothy - A spider that jumps from drawers. Small damage, mostly just a jumpscare.
- Snare - Floor traps in dark rooms. Move carefully and use your light to spot them.
What to Carry
- Lighter - Basic light source. Helps spot Screech, Snare, and navigate dark rooms.
- Flashlight - Brighter than lighter. Preferred option. Uses batteries though.
- Crucifix - Destroys one entity. Save this for Ambush, Seek, or Figure. Don't waste it on Rush.
- Vitamins - Speed boost. Great for outrunning entities or escaping Figure.
- Lockpick - Opens locked chests for loot. Use on every locked chest you find.
- Bandages - Heals health. Keep one for emergencies.
Survival Tips That'll Save Your Run
- Audio is everything. Play with headphones. Every entity has unique sound cues. You'll hear them coming before you see them.
- Always have a light source. Dark rooms spawn Screech and hide Snare traps.
- Save the Crucifix. Don't waste it on Rush - save it for harder encounters like Ambush or Figure.
- Loot carefully. When you hear entity cues, prioritize surviving over collecting items.
- Every death teaches you something. Entity patterns, timing, safe paths. You'll get better each run.
- Play with friends. Co-op makes callouts easier and honestly makes the game less terrifying. Honestly.
